One of the hardest challenges (at least for me) of being a full-stack developer is the design side because when I usually “build” a design for a client I’m not actually designing anything but I do research a lot looking for free UIs then I can take parts of some of them in order to have something unique to offer to my client.
I have a DigitalOcean droplet for testing purposes and usually I deploy static websites, NodeJS APIs and Laravel projects and in order to get the Laravel and the NodeJS servers working in the same droplet, I need to set a different port for each one using Nginx and FirewallD to open the port.
If you are working with some services or ports that your application is using and if you are not receiving information from the server, probably it’s because your firewall is not running or doesn’t have the rules for the port you are using.
I’m a guy from Mexico and Spanish is my first language but as a programmer and in this century it’s really necessary to learn at least English to expand your possibilities to find more friends around the world also better chances to get a great job.
Out there, exists a lot of websites and forums to solve problems about programming (web, mobile, desktop, etc.), even Youtube is a great platform for this.
